BGMI Unfail Mode: A Complete Guide to Hunting and Escaping
A terrifying new update has arrived in BGMI: Online Multiplayer Game. Forget the traditional battle royale—this is a true test of survival. The new Unfail Mode is a permanent 1v4 asymmetrical playlist where it’s not just about survival, but “escape or elimination.”
In this high-stakes game of cat and mouse, four Survivors are pitted against one powerful Predator. The Hunters never stop, and the Survivors never rest.
This guide will break down the rules, objectives, and winning strategies for both sides of this new, heart-pounding mode.
The Basics: How Unfail Mode Works
Unfail Mode takes place on a unique, dimly-lit map (based on Mylta Power). One player is randomly selected as the powerful Predator (Hunter), and the other four are Survivors.
- Survivor’s Objective: Activate five terminals scattered across the map to open the final Exit Gate and escape.
- Predator’s Objective: Hunt down and eliminate the Survivors before they can escape.
Win Conditions:
- Survivors WIN: 3 or 4 Survivors escape.
- It’s a DRAW: Exactly 2 Survivors escape.
- Predator WINS: 1 or 0 Survivors escape.
Survivor Strategy: How to Escape
As a Survivor, your goal is teamwork and stealth. You are weaker and slower than the Predator, but you have numbers and a few tricks.
Your Objectives:
- Activate Terminals: The map has 8 terminals in total. Your team only needs to activate any 5 of them. Activating a terminal requires a series of Quick-Time Events (QTEs).
- Beware: Activating a terminal briefly reveals your location to the Predator.
- Survive: Use the environment to your advantage. You can vault windows, drop barricades to stun the Predator, and hide in distribution boxes.
- Escape: Once the 5th terminal is active, the main Exit Gate opens. All living Survivors must get to the gate to escape.
Survivor Tips & Abilities:
- Heartbeat Monitor: Your heart will beat faster when the Predator is near. Use this as an early warning system.
- Firearms: You can find firearms on the map. These cannot kill the Predator, but they can temporarily stun it, allowing you to escape.
- Random Items: You will spawn with one random item, such as a Wrench (activates terminals faster) or Jet Gauntlets (gives a speed boost after vaulting).
- Auto-Recall: Each Survivor gets one free auto-recall upon their first elimination, giving you a second chance.
Predator Strategy: How to Hunt
As the Predator, you are a one-person army. You are faster, stronger, and have a unique set of skills that get more powerful as the match progresses.
Your Objectives:
- Patrol Terminals: The Survivors must go to the terminals. Use this to your advantage by setting traps and ambushing them.
- Gain Rage: Attacking or downing Survivors builds your “Rage” meter. As you level up (max Level 3), your abilities become deadlier.
- Eliminate Survivors: Your goal is to eliminate at least 3 Survivors to secure a win.
Predator Skills:
- Hook: Fire a hook to pull a distant Survivor directly to you, separating them from their team.
- Slow Trap: Place an invisible trap on the ground. When a Survivor triggers it, they are slowed and their location is revealed.
- Invisibility: Temporarily become invisible to sneak up on unsuspecting Survivors.
- Instant Execute: At Rage Level 3, you can execute downed Survivors instantly, preventing their teammates from rescuing them.
This is a completely new way to play, blending action with horror-survival. Whether you’re hunting or being hunted, this mode will test your nerves. Log in to BGMI: Online Multiplayer Game and see if you can survive the Unfail Mode!
How do I play Unfail Mode in BGMI?
You can find the Unfail Mode in the Unranked or Arcade section of the game mode selection menu in BGMI: Online Multiplayer Game.
Can you play as the Predator every time?
Yes. Before starting the match, you can set your preference to Predator or Survivor. If you select Predator, you may have to wait longer in the queue, but you will be guaranteed the role.
Can Survivors fight back?
Yes, but not to kill. Survivors can find stun guns and other firearms. Shooting the Predator will fill its stun bar. When full, the Predator is stunned for a few seconds, allowing the Survivors to run and hide.
What happens if only one Survivor is left?
If all recall chances are used and only one Survivor remains, a special Exit Portal will spawn at a random location. This gives the last player a final, desperate chance to escape. However, escaping this way will still count as a win for the Predator (as 1 or 0 Survivors escaped).
